The result identifier distinguishes one plan from another. It is not designed to identify you directly.

NestOnyx may collect information about the use and performance of the Website, including:

Some Smart Home Advisor explanations may be generated or enhanced through an artificial-intelligence service provided by OpenAI.

When AI generation is enabled, NestOnyx may send structured information such as:

  • relevant Advisor answer categories;
  • the calculated Advisor profile;
  • recommended device categories;
  • compatibility and setup context;
  • budget and roadmap context;
  • instructions defining the required output structure and length.

NestOnyx does not intend to include the following in an AI-writing request:

  • your email address;
  • your name;
  • your precise home address;
  • payment information;
  • passwords or access credentials;
  • written feedback comments;
  • information that is unnecessary to generate the plan.

OpenAI processes the structured information to return the requested explanation. Under OpenAI’s standard API data controls, API request and response content may be retained for a limited period for abuse prevention and service protection, subject to OpenAI’s applicable terms.

AI-generated explanations may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. When AI functionality is disabled, unavailable, limited, or unsuccessful, NestOnyx may provide predefined or rules-based content instead.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

NestOnyx may use cookies and similar technologies, including local storage and session storage.

A cookie is a small file or identifier placed on or accessed from your device. Browser storage may also preserve information locally without using a traditional cookie.

5.1 Strictly necessary technologies

Strictly necessary technologies may be used to:

  • maintain an Advisor session;
  • remember quiz answers and progress;

  • preserve security controls;

The GA4 user-level and event-level data-retention setting used by NestOnyx is intended to be 14 months. Google provides standard GA4 properties with retention choices of 2 or 14 months.

NestOnyx has disabled advertising personalization for its Analytics use. Google states that disabling advertising personalization does not prevent the continued use of Analytics information for measurement and ordinary content analysis.

5.3 Current Analytics consent configuration

NestOnyx does not currently use Google Consent Mode.

As a result, Google Analytics may begin processing Website-use information when a visitor accesses a page on which the Analytics tag is active.

Visitors may limit or remove analytics cookies through browser settings and available Google controls. NestOnyx may introduce a dedicated consent-management interface in the future, particularly where required by applicable law.

5.4 Affiliate technologies

NestOnyx participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program.

When you follow an affiliate link, a retailer or affiliate network may use:

NestOnyx does not currently use Advisor answers to create advertising profiles.

Advertising personalization in Google Analytics is disabled.

NestOnyx does not currently use behavioural remarketing technologies such as Meta Pixel or Google Ads remarketing unless such use is separately disclosed and supported by appropriate privacy controls.
